Timber Mouldings

We carry a large range of pine and Tasmanian Oak mouldings for both building and cabinet making requirements.

Our products are machined in accordance with quality assurance standard ISO9002, and great care is taken to ensure consistency of design and accuracy of machining, so that matching new purchases with previous purchases is an ongoing reality.

We offer anything from one piece to large bulk orders at discounted prices, and we are always happy to walk you through our range.

Our showroom, service counters and product display areas feature many of our mouldings in practical applications, to allow you to better evaluate our products.

Samples are always readily available, on request, and we are always happy to help you with application techniques or design requirements.

 Mouldings – Cabinet Making

The most basic door insert can be easily transformed from an austere angular design into a mellow flowing form by the addition of a piece of insertion mould.

Similarly, the appearance of greater depth is achieved using a larger Dado rebate over the same door. Literally, any internal right angle formed in a cabinet can be so embellished.

Kickers at the bottom of cabinets respond well to the addition of any one of our large range of skirting moulds and, similarly, we have a good range of cornices from which to choose.

Samples are always readily available, on request, and we are always happy to help you with application techniques or design requirements.

Mouldings – Building

Skirting and architraves can have a tremendous impact on the presentation of a room and can be used very effectively to magnify and reinforce the architectural style of the building, the period in history that you are trying to create or the mood that you wish to project.

For these reasons, we carry a range of designs, suitable for a multitude of applications. We stock a range of heights to suit the scale of your building or the level of visual importance that you wish to place on this particular element of design.

We use pine primarily, because it is ideally suited to staining in a whole ambit of timber colours, prior to clear polishing.
Alternatively, it gives a real solid timber look and feel to any paint surface, be it hand or spray applied.

In addition, we carry picture rails, chair rails, dado’s, insert mouldings and quads to ensure that your building has that finished look and all your decorating ideas can be catered for.
