Cladding

We carry cladding in either Hardiflex and associated products or real timber. Our timber cladding is available in either Cypress Pine, Western Red Cedar or Baltic Pine.

Cypress Pine cladding is a versatile exterior wall covering which can be finished to achieve a natural rustic appearance, or painted to suit your chosen colour scheme. It is naturally termite resistant and the hardest of our external claddings on offer. It is a native of northern New South Wales.

Its most common profile is the rusticated 150 x 25 mm, shown below, which gives an effective coverage of 126 mm.

Western Red Cedar cladding is normally used in a sawn textured face. It is imported from the forests of North West America and British Columbia. It will age to a beautiful grey colour, as is most commonly seen adorning lodges in the Victorian ski fields, if left untreated. Alternatively, it can be clear coated to retain its initial sawn colour.

It is normally used in its wedge shape profile, offering a coverage of 190 mm. While it is not a hard timber, it offers excellent weathering properties.

Baltic Pine weatherboards have been an integral part of our development since the Colony was established. It is particularly prevalent in Victoria, and provides an ideal paintable cladding.
It is available in a variety of profiles.
